Aisha Hinds and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she made her debut acting in 2003. Her performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to attract her attention. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biopic All the Way, which brought her the recognition she earned as an actress. Hind was also recognized for her role performed in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show is renewed for a third series from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is set to be released around the middle of 2019. Her dad Krishnaraj is an Army scientist who passed away in March of 2017 and his mom Vrinda is a housewife. Aditya Rai is her older brother, is an engineer in the merchant marine industry. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. She was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir High School located in Mumbai where her family had moved to. After completing her intermediate studies in Jai Hind College, she was accepted into D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% on the H.S.C. exams. Her adolescence was spent studying music and classical dance over the course of five years. Her favorite subject was zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when in 1994 she won the title of Miss World. Her title brought her to the forefront of modeling. Her contract was lucrative with Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc. and an L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. The two first films of her professional career included Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya as well as Iruvar. The two films challenged the traditional structure that characterized Bollywood movies at the time, and pushed Bachchan to prominence in her own New Bollywood. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the betrayed love in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of the most popular films in Bollywood. The film was also the first film to screen at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002) is a dramatic version of RabindranathTagore novel Chokher (2003) was praised by the critics. In that same year she was the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan could bring her beauty and star power to her first major English language film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star, who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most prominent individuals together.
